SHENDURUNY WILDLIFE SANCTUARYEstablished in 1984,at the Kallada Irrigation Dept.
Geographic layoutArea : 10032 hectares encloses the catchment of Shendruny valley.
CREDIBLE FEATURES : Being one of the richest floral areas of Kerala ,it is home to a variety of animals like Elephants,Tigers,Leopards,Bears and the endangered Lion - tailed macacques.
Tourists can acess the sanctuary from Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram.
