CHINNAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY Established in 1984,one of the four sanctuaries formed in October.

Geographic layout Area : Extending over 90.442sq.km in the Idduki Dist.

CREDIBLE FEATURES : A mixed decidous forest with occational scrub and thorny patches,rich in wild life owing to the adjacent Eravikulam national park and Anamalai wild life sanctuary in Tamil Nadu.

Tourists can easily gain acess from Udubelpettu in Tamil Nadu and Munnar in Kerala.
