The flagpost of the Sree Vallabha Temple with a height of 5.3 mts from ground level and 1.5 mts below ground level is constructed out of a single rock with a "Garudan"(Eagle conveyance of the hindu deity Indra) on top, created by the famed craftsman of old - "Perumthachan". |

Thekekudi Cave Temple in the Kaviyoor Panchayat is one of the rare cave temples found in Kerala. It is believed that the 'Darusilpas' seen around the temple belong to the 17th century.

The Niranam Jacobite Church : St.Thomas, one of the twelve deciples of Jesus is believed to have visited Niranam in A.D. 53. He erected a crucifix and founded and built a church which is actually todays niranam church. |

An ancient stone tablet set into a wall still exists near Angelkutti.The inscription etched on this stone tablet is actually a law reminder passed by an ancient ruler, which translates- "CITIZENS OF A LOWER CLASS AND CAST SHALL NOT TREAD THIS PATH". |
