The first church, George Syrian Jacobite Church,Paliakara in Thiruvalla was founded in 1810AD.At that time there was not any denomination except Syrian Jacobite Church. In course of time a new church was formed by Rev.Fr. Abraham malpan and Rev. Fr. Ipe thoma Kovoor and M.G.Mathews mar Athanius, Palakunnathu.At that time Rev.Fr.Kurien Yakole,Kodiattu. In the year of 1038 this church came under the administration of the new church by order of Maharaja of Travancore.
